Renaissance also provides financial literacy services and comprehensive technical assistance to small business owners and entrepreneurs each year through individual counseling and classroom sessions.

 

Position Summary: 

Renaissance seeks a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join the organization’s Fiscal Department. The Fiscal Administrator will provide support to the fiscal team and be responsible for a variety of finance administration tasks. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of accounting principles and possess the capacity to learn about industry compliances and regulations, as well as nonprofit financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Receives and reviews invoices, payment requests, expense reports, and combines with relevant staff approval/documentation 
  • Coordinates vendor correspondence; contacts vendors to receive W-9s and other necessary forms; requests invoice updates/corrections.
  • Assists with reimbursement reports to grant funders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Performs invoicing, billing and collections of payments
  • Work closely with Fiscal team members to coordinate staff allocation changes and prepare staff allocation reports for review 
  • Maintain bank account signers, liaison with banks to set up new bank accounts and assist with banking needs among Fiscal staff
  • Performs financial accounting data entries into accounting system
  • Provide administrative support to fiscal team and implement administrative processes to boost departmental efficiency
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of all reporting requirements of funding agencies and contracts
  • Assist with year-end audit 
  • Assist with special projects as needed

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or 3+ years of equivalent working experience 
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace 
  • Ability to multitask and complete a wide range of tasks 
  • Chinese, Korean, or Spanish proficiency is a plus

 

COMPENSATION: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 annually
