Stanton Norfolk Property Management Company oversees and maintains more than 600 rental apartments in the Chinatown/Lower East Side neighborhood in New York City and 231 units at One Flushing, a 100% affordable complex AAFE co-developed in the heart of Downtown Flushing, Queens. A division of Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE), the nonprofit organization is dedicated to operating one of the city’s most respected affordable housing portfolios. The majority of the apartments owned and managed by Stanton Norfolk are reserved for individuals and families earning below 60% of Area Median Income (AMI). The organization operates 36 buildings across Lower Manhattan, including 40 commercial spaces. Stanton Norfolk has received the highest possible “Exemplary” rating from NeighborWorks America, which conducts annual audits of the organization’s housing portfolio.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist will work within the Property Management Marketing Department and will be responsible for screening applicants and calculating applicant income to determine eligibility for new affordable housing developments.
