The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.


  • Process the renting of various size storage units and various size U-Haul trucks, trailers and moving equipment.
  • Process storage rental paperwork/contracts and take payments for the same, maintain tenant files, make courtesy/collection calls on delinquent accounts, prepare delinquent (add late fees), pre-lien and auction letters/notices to be mailed, answer perspective customer questions in regards to storage and U-Haul rentals.
  • Maintain accountability of monies collected.
  • Prepare 45 day delinquent storage accounts for auction, advertise, take pictures of and inventory auction units, show units to bidders, once winning bidders have cleared out the unit, close out the account and make sure the unit is ready to be rented again.
  • Conduct security floor checks throughout the day - checking for security of the floors and storage units, making sure there is no unauthorized activity going on, making sure exit and other lighting are working properly, if damage units are found that they are added to the maintenance work list.
  • Conduct dispatch/receiving procedures on all outgoing/incoming U-Haul rental equipment.


We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. We require the following:

  • Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant or in another relevant administrative role
  • Knowledge of “back-office” computer systems (ERP software)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (This position includes, but is not limited to working with uhaul customers as well as storage customers.)
  • A valid driver's license
  • Able to work during the weekends

Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour
